This event is the re-scheduled GM that was cancelled in November due to bad weather. Santa couldn't deliver his SWAG due to Rudolph refusing to go out in the inclement weather. Santa's reindeers are obviously getting soft and this doesn't bode well for Xmas Eve! However, they have promised to deliver said SWAG on January 11th. In addition to the already planned SWAG there will be some additional books on security as draw prizes. Dana Epp has gone to some considerable trouble to work us into his busy schedule, including moving appointments around to align with avaliable venue dates. So let's show our appreciation by making a good showing. Please click on the link to register.

The community launch event for Vista, Office System 2007, Exchange 2007 and .NET Framework 3.0 is in the planning stages and I am aiming for mid-February. Details will be made available soon. It is vital that we make this a successful event to maintain our very solid reputation with MSFT. So I will be expecting an outstanding turnout to show your support for your fellow members who have spent time studying and will be doing their best to present to you. This event should also be viewed as much as an audience participation/discussion as a series of presentations. Community events like this are very important and can only succeed now and in the future with your support.

Cheers

Graham Jones

President, VANTUG
