Senior Programmer     ASP/.Net

CBI Systems Integrators Ltd is a leading systems integrator and e-business development house based in Port Coquitlam BC Canada.

We are Microsoft Gold partners & will give preference to candidates who are Microsoft Certified.

We are currently looking for a talented, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a .NET / C# Developer with strong SQL skills, on a full time basis

You will work closely with members of the creative, project management and technical teams and be responsible for key web programming assignments and the ongoing maintenance of client interactive media solutions.

Responsibilities:

·    Design, code, test and debug complex business software

·    May participate in the preparation of technical specifications

·    Communicate issues and status with customers and team leaders

 


Required Qualifications:

Must have:
Solid understanding of RDBMS principles, design and normalization
Experience with MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005
Experience writing complex T-SQL statements, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions (UDF), views, and triggers
Good understanding of index design and T-SQL performance tuning
Understanding of full development life-cycle methodology and version control
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Energy and ability to work well with others in a client-focused, innovative environment

 

·    5+ years software design and development experience

·    3+ years experience with NET development experience focusing on C# and ASP.NET & SQL

  • Strong Web Design skills, web design portfolio is a benefit
  • Extensive XML development experience with .NET in real business applications

·    A post-secondary degree in Computer Science is required

Additional Qualifications:

 The following criteria is not essential, however candidates with the following credentials will be preferred:

  • Experience with large Web Content Management Systems
  • Ajax
  • Strong analysis skills, both from a technical and a business perspective

Ü       Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work

Ü       Proven ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment

Ü       Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment

 

Successful candidates may be required to write a Technical Proficiency Test.
