VanTUG

Events & Sessions

Monthly technical sessions, multi-session tracks, and hands-on labs across Metro Vancouver. Vendor-neutral. Practitioner-led.

How Our Sessions Work

Practitioner-Led

Sessions are delivered by working IT professionals, not vendor sales teams. Real experience, real environments, real problems.

Vendor-Neutral

We don't run sales sessions. Sponsors support the community — they don't own the content.

Track-Based

Sessions connect to multi-part learning tracks so you build on knowledge over time, not just attend one-off talks.

Free to Attend

Every VanTUG session is free. No ticket fees, no paywalls. We're volunteer-run and community-funded. Sponsors keep the lights on — they don't charge the door.

In-Person in Vancouver

Sessions are held across Metro Vancouver — Downtown, Burnaby, Surrey, and campus locations. Check each event for the specific venue.

Hands-On Where It Counts

Not every session has a lab component — but the ones that do are clearly marked. Bring your laptop when we say so. Lab sessions have limited seats.
